Lead Toddler Teacher

As a Jr. Lead Pre-K Teacher, your duties and responsibilities include:

⭐Manage a classroom of children ranging in age from 18 months to 3 years of age.

⭐Apply best practices in structured indoor and outdoor lesson plans that include Sign Language.

⭐Instruction and Spanish Language Immersion to promote our curriculum, cognitive and physical development, executive function, social & emotional development, creative expression, and language & literacy development.

⭐Cleaning and sanitizing classrooms and other areas used by the children.

⭐Ensure diaper changing and potty training is performed in conjunction with sanitizing procedures every 2 hours.

⭐Collaborate with assistant teachers and others to coordinate instructional efforts and different activities.

Center Coordinator/ Food Manager

At Reliable Child Care, we're looking for a high-energy, fun, and friendly Center Coordinator/ Food Manager.

The Center Coordinator is a part-time managerial position responsible for, Food Preparation, Teacher Support, Cleaning & Supply Maintenance and assistance in overall Day-to-Day Center Operations.

The successful candidate must be able to multitask and create systems in order to organize, order, purchase, restock, refill, maintain materials, prepare meals (lunch/snack), and perform end-of-day clean up and closing procedures. They must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Products like Excel, Word, and other computer software critical to Reliable Child Care. They must be able to  assist children in the completion of homework assignments while responding quickly to children’s different and personal needs (verbal and non-verbal cues), temperament styles, abilities, and cultures while teaching and following the daily scheduled activities and lesson plans.

We're on the lookout for candidates who have the following:
✅High School Diploma or equivalent (preferable but not required in Early Childhood, Early Childhood Development or a related field) or CDA (Child Development Associate) credentials.

✅Two years or more of experience working with children less than 13 years of age.

✅Mature, willing to learn, have a drive to work with children, of good character and possess suitable personal qualifications.

✅Good physical and mental health and have the energy and emotional stability necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position Education level.

✅Familiarity with the Common Core Curriculum is helpful but not required.

✅Freedom from illegal use of drugs.

✅Freedom from use and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

✅Must be at least 18 years of age.Must complete a current physical and TB (Tuberculosis) test.

✅Fingerprinting, and criminal history background checks must be performed.

As a Center Coordinator, your duties and responsibilities include:
⭐Maintain and keep all materials and work centers organized.

⭐Make sure backdoor is shut all the way and locked at the end of day.

⭐Check all flash lights throughout Center once a month.

⭐Learn how to use Center application for classroom documentation and record keeping (i.e. Daily Lesson Plans; daily attendance and health checks, ratio sheets; meal counts, food/supply orders, homework logs, etc.

⭐Delegate to others.

⭐Attend continuous training classes designed to broaden professionalism, education and skill involving childcare and child development as required by Federal and State Regulations and Center administration.

⭐Instruct and monitor students in the use and care of equipment and materials, in order to prevent injuries and damage.

⭐Attend general staff meetings, teacher planning meetings and assist in setting the goals for the Day Care Center.

⭐Provide a safe, orderly environment in which children's needs (physical, emotional, social, etc.) are met effectively.

⭐Engage Children in extended conversation and create daily learning experiences.

⭐Keep all items in Kitchen (Microwave, Toaster Oven, Toaster, Sink, Utensils,supplies etc.) clean, restocked and in order.

⭐Restock & Refill all paper towel holders & soap pumps in classrooms, bathrooms, etc.

⭐Maintain all art supplies & notify Director when supplies run low.

⭐Check and maintain all classroom emergency and shelter in place bags and logs once a month (The 1st of every month).

⭐Clean, organize and replenish any kitchen, refrigerator, bathroom, classroom supplies, etc. needed
